Crawford Preparatory School
Crawford Preparatory School, Sandton Campus offers the International Computer Drivers License (ICDL) as teacher development to all staff and parents. This is an internationally recognized computer certification to show adequate proficiency in computer use, which you can study for in your own time at home, or in lectures at school. The student has to pass all seven modules at a very high level - as high as 80%. The ICDL is the only recognised IT qualification at present. Worldwide it is administered by the European Computer Driving Licence Foundation. In Africa it is administered by ICDL Africa, a non-profit body established by the CSSA ( Computer Society of South Africa.
