Cafe
Brazilia The prime location above Humewood Road ensures that Cafe
Brazilia enjoys sweeping harbour views, and its close proximity
to the prestigious Paxton Hotel provides a steady flow of
dignitaries and politicians, who mix with tourists and overseas
businessmen to give a very cosmopolitan ambience to this popular
restaurant. Partners Carl and Paul have set high standards
in terms of excellent service from the team of well groomed
waitrons who are polite, friendly and above all very efficient.

Driftwoods Conveniently situated in the Humeway Centre with parking
directly outside the door, the elevated position of Driftwoods
ensures uninterrupted sea and harbour views. There is a sheltered
outside verandah which is popular for al fresco dining particularly
at lunch time. Owner Walter Fisher took over the restaurant
in October 2003 and has completely refurbished the interior.
The attractive yellow and green colour scheme is complimented
by a display of plants clustered around a tinkling water feature
to enhance the relaxed atmosphere, and the walls are decorated
with animal prints and paintings.

Mamma
Leone's Mario Novello came to South Africa in 1968 and after a
number of years in the hotel industry in Port Elizabeth opened
Mamma Leone's in East London in the 1980's. In 1998 he returned
to Port Elizabeth and established Mamma Leone's in Commercial
Street and six years later moved to its present home in Newton
Park. It is very much a family run restaurant with Mario involved
in the kitchen whilst his wife Pat ensures that the day-to-day
operation of the business runs smoothly.

Wicker
Woods Wicker Woods was established in August of 2000 on the
site of the old Green Turtle in Mount Croix. This quaint old
house retains all the original fixtures and fittings including
the beautiful oregon pine floors and is air-conditioned for
those hot summer evenings. On chilly winter nights sit at
the comfortable bar and enjoy the roaring fires. The bar serves
a dual purpose. Not only can you enjoy a drink whilst perusing
the menu, but also make your selection from a vast array of
wines from a host of South African estates.
